Every summer, we make the long trek back home to the states to visit family. After a horrendous 24 hours or so of flying, stopping over in Japan, we make it to California and spend a week recovering from jetlag. It is a beautiful spot to recover. My parents have created an oasis in their yard. At the top is horses. These aren't their horses, but they have access to them because they house them in their stables. So lucky for the girls, they got a chance to ride them one afternoon.

A few more cute pictures of the kids in California.
Abigail and Ella on the porch. Notice Joseph's pride and joy, his Harley Davidson in the background. That was his transportation to and from work. Singapore is a very motorcycle friendly place.
